The first time I met Paige was when she flew out from Illinois to California in order to celebrate my friend’s graduation. After spending a brief afternoon together, Paige began asking me questions about my greatest fears and what I am most passionate about. She really wanted to get to know me on a deeper level as she took to heart my replies. I greatly admire people who ask bold and challenging questions.
Several months later, I woke up in the middle of the night and couldn’t fall back asleep.
So what do I do?
I check my email of course!
At 3am.
In that moment, a single email appeared from Paige herself asking if I would consider taking their wedding photos. ABSOLUTELY YES! At that point, there was no way I was going back to sleep. I barely could contain myself from waking up my husband Jeremiah to tell him the news!
The Outdoor Winery Wedding
The McEachran Homestead Winery is a family owned venue in Illinois. It was the perfect outdoor winery wedding backdrop for a ceremony in the woods and a dessert reception.
During the ceremony, Paige made everyone cry right along with her as she passionately read her vows!
The entire day was wonderfully peaceful. The reception was very laid back (like myself). They served homemade cupcakes and even a had a temporary tattoo station! To top it off they created a personalized tattoo for their wedding day. You have to see it for yourself.
Their Hearts Led Them To Their Home
Paige and Jesse are passionate about making the church the best it can be. They collectively have been involved in every little area of their church for years.
The day after their outdoor winery wedding they packed up a U-Haul and drove to their new home: Kansas City. Paige told me, “In Kansas City we are going to be a part of a church plant, which is Jesse’s heart and I’m following to see what all I can offer the church!! Our hearts are just to serve, we love the church and can definitely see ourselves being involved the rest of our lives.” Not only was their wedding a celebration of their marriage, it was also a supportive send off to their new home.
